At the turn of the 20th Century the Religious Cathedrals in the cities have been replaced by a new typology which attracted an even greater constant flock. The train stations. By the end of the same century socio-economic changes have led to another definition of the urban cathedral: The Supermarket. These new structures have populated our cities and substituted our needs. Institutional religion itself has become commercialised requiring the faithful to pay for a ‘corner plot’ in afterlife. For thousands of years religion did sell and now, more than ever, religion has eventually transformed into a product.
