Title: At the end of the pier
In 1962 Chris Marker released one of the most interesting movies ever made: La Jetee. Comprised entirely of still shot photography the movie tells the story of a post apocalyptic earth lying in ruins after a nuclear war.
This video appropriates La Jetee’s storyline and superimposes it into a new abstract scenario using excerpts from La Jetee mixed with video shot locally creating a new composite which becomes familiar to the locality of Limassol.
