Espresso is a cinematographic study on the communication, or the lack of it, between people who live on both sides of the divided city of Nicosia in Cyprus. The film was filmed in 1998 and reflects the alienation which the Green Line has created over the years between people who live in the same city, even in the same neighbourhood. It is a work about people displaced on the wrong side of the line and from each other.
