Title:
My family, including my grandfather Christos and my grandmother Maria were displaced to Agros; Aunt Militsa, Maro and Loukia to Athens; Uncle Andreas to Limassol. Aunt Mary, Uncle Charalambos, Lelia and George were also displaced to Limassol, whilst Aunt Giannoula, Uncle Andreas, Nikos and Maria, grandfather George and grandmother Helen to Larnaca. Aunt Rita, Uncle Ivikkos, Ilias, Riana, Christos were displaced to Nicosia. Pieris and Despinou had no permanent residence, having to move from one relative to the other … and everyone kept talking about “our” Varosi (Famagusta)......and for me, Varosi – to which I’ve never been – simply represents all these relatives together.
LETTERS
The correspondence, the way of communication between my family and their relatives, following the Turkish invasion on the Island.
