As much as one feels displaced sometimes in one’s own environment, specifically – one’s country of origin, getting out of the country I have lived in most of my adult life has confronted me with a culture shock and has provoked introversion, anxiety, isolation and a constant feeling of not belonging.
I had to get out of Israel because the political and nearly war like conditions had provoked in me introversion, anxiety, isolation and a constant feeling of not belonging.
